As a joint task force and Interpol pursue the remnants of the Holies, parallel assemblies unfold—one rooted in faith and inevitability, another in evidence and jurisdiction. At the margins, an older, unnamed order quietly intervenes, not to advance belief, but to contain its most dangerous symbols.
